- Remove the compote from heat and stir in 1 tablespoon peanut butter and the chia seeds; let sit 5 minutes so chia swells and the compote chills slightly and thickens.
- If you like, warm the remaining peanut butter 10–15 seconds in the microwave to loosen into a drizzle; stir remaining 1 tablespoon of honey into it for an easier drizzle.
